my tea obsession…
My mom got me obsessed with teas awhile back… it all started with Celestial Seasonings (awhile back… still have yet to visit their place now that we’re out here in Colorado), then moved to Two Leaves and a Bud, and then to The Tea Spot up in Boulder. About two years ago, my tastes turned to Teavana. I’ll admit – I became quite obsessed and over time acquired quite the collection.
During the move (ugh, that word again), we had quite a few people help us (it was amazing how much help we received and I am forever grateful) and many people commented on my tea collection – which moved “tea” from “something I drink every day” to more of an active thought throughout the day. I also had a friend come over and bring some new ones to try, which always gets me wanting to add to my collection!
Now that we’re in the middle of April, I’m usually transitioning to more of the fruity teas, but we’ve had some cold spells the last few weeks and it keeps me happy with my “nutty” mixes – I’m actually happy to get to enjoy them a bit longer into the year than I normally would.
My current favorites for the cold weather are:
Toasted Nut Brulee Oolong
Dosha Chai Rooibos (enjoying right now)
Carmel Almond Amaretti Herbal
CocoCaramel Sea Salt Herbal
Azteca Fire Herbal
Creamy Nut Oolong – TEAVANA, PLEASE BRING THIS BACK!!!
Some others that I would like to try:
WonderBerry Chocolate Truffle Oolong
Tropical Nut Paradise Rooibos
